 ¾ cup low fat curd (dahi)
 2 tbsp Bengal gram flour (besan)
 1 tsp ginger-green chilly paste
 1 tsp green paste
 ½ tsp mustard seeds (rai / sarson)
 ½ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
 ¼ tsp fenugreek (methi) seeds
 4 curry leaves (kadi patta)
 ¼ tsp asafoetida (heeng)
 ¼ tsp grated garlic
 2 tbsp spinach puree`
 salt to taste

Add low-fat curd, besan flour and 2 cups of water in a bowl and mix these well. You can use a hand blender to mix so that no lumps are formed.

Add green paste and ginger-green chilly paste and mix it well. Keep the mix aside.

Heat a pan on medium flame and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida in the pan and roast it dry for about 30 seconds.

Add the besan-curd mixture to the pan and mix it well. Cook it on a medium flame for 3 minutes and keep stirring the mixture continuously.

Add garlic, spinach puree and salt and mix them well again. Cook on the medium flame for 3 minutes more.

Garnish with coriander and serve hot immediately.
